I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Brooklyn Park, MN) in Jul 2016
Interview
They asked about previous jobs and what you did there.
The only other question is "name a time when you have gone above and beyond to help a fellow co-worker or customer"
Then they tell you that you got the job but have to wait for background check.
Once it comes back set you up for orientation and then you start asap! Very easy.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
When did you go above and beyond to help a coworker or customer.
Very easy and straight to the point. Question about previous experience related to the role, or situations where you’ve had to multitask or under slight stress etc… What kind of hours you would like to work all that good stuff.
Pretty simple interview with basic questions. I Applied online and then received a call to schedule an interview and was hired within three days. Basic questions like tell me about yourself, problem solving, ability to perform the job, and customer service experience.
A brief interview asking both behavioral style and hypothetical questions. Overall I feel it was an average interview requiring minimal prep. Nothing too difficult and a fine interview overall. As long as you present yourself as personable you should be fine.
