Interview
The process was structured and professional. It began with an initial screening call with a recruiter, followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, I was invited for a panel interview with 3 senior managers from supply chain and operations.
Each round focused on different aspects:
Phone Screen (30 mins): Focused on my background, why I’m interested in Walmart, and basic supply chain concepts.
Hiring Manager Interview (45 mins): Behavioral questions (STAR format), operational problem-solving scenarios, and team leadership experience.
Panel Interview (90 mins): In-depth case studies, questions around supply chain optimization, inventory turns, vendor relations, and cross-functional leadership. They also asked about experience with data analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
