I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at WalkMe in Apr 2022
Interview
The first interview was pretty much a formality to determine if I was a good fit with my experience and personality. This was the only good part of the interview process. I was then given a task to perform on the WalkMe platform, which I couldn’t start to do not having access. It took over 2 weeks for them to grant me access. I completed the task and submitted it to the recruiter. I was asked my availability for the next interview. I was told to email my availability to a specific person, whom I received a bounce back email stating they weren’t returning to the office for a week. Another recruiter ended up scheduling the interview. I took off work to attend the interview and they sent me an email 15 minutes before to cancel with no explanation, but an apology. They proceeded to schedule an interview on a day and time that I had previous stated I was not available. It doesn’t seem like there’s much organization or communication between departments.

Interview
The interview process for a Technical Support Engineer role at WalkMe was well structured and moderately challenging. It began with an HR screening followed by a technical round focusing on troubleshooting, and front end web basics, and problem solving scenarios. The hiring manager round emphasized customer handling, communication skills, and real world support cases. The final stage included a panel interview assessing both technical knowledge and cultural fit. Overall, the experience was positive.
