An initial phone screen which was more of a generic "do you know x", do you know y" conversation. Which followed up with a "homework assignment" that would be sent out later to be completed and would not be utilized for any future work. Submitted my work, never heard back then saw months later that my work had indeed been used in a paid project the company put together. Very unscrupulous and not an honest company.
