I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Visa Inc.
Interview
The interview process began with a phone screen and then an in-person interview. In the in-person interview I sat down with several staff members. The team was extremely friendly. The were very transparent about the challenges and opportunities with the role and the department. The whole interview process felt very conversational not transactional. Seemed like a great place to work.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Singapore) in Feb 2019
Interview
Got contacted by a recruitment agency about the position. Interview setup was quick, all done within a week.
Went down to meet the hiring managers. Nice office btw.
First round interview was rather informal, nice chat with the lady and guy interviewers. They explained to me in details about the role and the entire map of the operations which is required by the role. The 1-hour chat was enjoyable and felt that as if I had a good chance to progress onto the next stage.
Before parting ways, the lady interviewer told me there will be a 2nd round interview and might have a 3rd round. And she will let me know the outcome by the end of the following week.
I have waited for more than a month now for a response. Dropped an enquiry email to the recruitment agency and got no response. Called them and the agent said she didn't get a response from the hiring manager.
I was expecting the interview process and following up from a Fintech giant to be more professional. Hope the company recruitment team can at least inform candidates on the outcome and not leaving them in the cold.
