I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at VenueBook (New York, NY) in Aug 2016
Interview
Phone interview: 30 minutes talking about the my experience and what to expect out of the internship.
In-Person interview:
I was interviewed by three different people -- each segment was 30 minutes.
One was with my future manager, the questions were revolved around how I am as a worker.
The second part was more math based questions so they can get a sense of my hard skills.
The third part was about my personality so they can get a sense of my soft skills.

Interview
First, I had a call with an employee in the Marketing Department in the New York Office. Just a general informational interview so I could better understand what they were looking for and they could understand what I could offer. No surprises!
Then, I had a call with a remote employee from the Marketing Department. Again, more informational so this employee could weigh in on what she thought of me.
Lastly, I had a video call (since I wasn't in NY) with the Marketing Dept. supervisor, who asked me some questions and gave me a few math problems to solve. Then I spoke again with the first woman I spoke with on the phone and she checked to see how much I knew about the company.
Got a call later that week telling me they were offering me the internship.
A phone interview, followed by a second phone interview. Past the first, and the second went well as well. The second interview went went okay. The interviewer seemed inexperienced or uninterested could't tell. Mind you, this was the second interview, and they did want to talk to me but then had nothing to say. Basically asked if I had any questions and it was me speaking throughout with no contribution from the interviewer.
