I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at United Airlines (Houston, TX) in Nov 2015
Interview
I filled out my application the Friday. the next day I received an email for the video interview through the hirevue app. I waited the last day to complete it lol. With in three days they emailed me back to fly out to Texas for a f2f interview. I was assigned Texas. They did not give me a choice. The hotel cost was something I had to pay for. I stayed in Fairfield Inn which gives you free shuttle service to the airport and the interview office which is located offsite the airport. From the time you check in the senior Flight attendants know that you're coming for an interview. So they are watching you on the plane. I got lucky an received pointer from the FA's on that flight to Texas. They gave me the full rundown and even gave me awesome tips. Interview day we were placed in a room with other candidates. It was about 30 interviewers in my class. i was interviewed by a senior FA from New Jersey. He was super nice I was super nervous about the answers I was giving and doubting myself but I went to the next room where I was with two other girls. I was called and placed in a room with two senior FA. They asked me 2 more questions and offered me the CJO. From there they sent me to fill out paperwork and a drug test along with a site and hearing test. On my way back to the airport after the testing the FA's were still watching me . My best advice is . Be yourself cause it does show if your genuine or not and they can def see right through it. Always smile and be courtesy. I had lots of passengers coming up to me thinking I was a FA and I def played the part :)

Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
