I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at United Airlines (Newark, NJ) in Sep 2015
Interview
I applied on Sept 8, received request for video interview on the same day. I completed the interview Sept 11 and received an invitation for F2F on the 15th. I selected the interview on Sept 21st at EWR. The interview was scheduled for 9am and I arrived at the airport 7:45. Got the gate pass in less than 5 minutes, went through security then sat with the other interviewees at the designated spot. At 9 am we were taken to the area where the interview was being held. They checked our resume and identification then gave us a name sticker and a folder with some information on the pay and reserve life. We then went into a room for a small presentation and q&a. After that, we were then being called for a 1 on 1 interview. I was the last to be called out of 15+ people. If they like you then, they invite you to another with 2 persons. At the 1 on 1, after being told I was moving on to the next step, I disclosed that I was currently waiting for my green card and that I would have it in hand before the training date. My interviewer who was soo sweet went for a senior FA to see if that would have been an issue. After talking it through, she told me I could not go on to the next round since I told them that and that they would remove my application so I could reapply once I had my green card. As disappointed as I was, I was relieved that I wouldn't have to wait a whole year before reapplying. I was then escorted back to the bus so I could leave. Before I was out of the building I was then told I had to come back to complete the interview process and what they told me before was not applicable. At that point I was distraught because I knew their decision and continuing was just for show. Nevertheless, I went on the 2 on 1 interview. It went well and at the end of it they basically told me because I told them of my green card situation, I was no longer eligible but they will forward my information to HR and i'll receive an email letting me know the status of my application. A week later I got the TBNT email. It was an awesome experience and I am better prepared for other interviews.

I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA)

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
