I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Houston, TX) in Sep 2015
Interview
Applied online and within two days was asked to do an online interview. After doing the online interview (about 6 questions - most were situation based) I got another email asking to attend a face to face interview. I had to fly to Houston, TX for the interview which they provide the flight, but you provide your stay. Interview was at 8:30 AM, I got there around 7:45 talked with everyone else in the waiting area which was nice to calm the nerves. They start off with an introduction of basically everything about the job (pay, benefits, relocating, etc.) and give you time to ask any questions you may have. Then you wait until you're name is called (they call 1 by 1) once you're called, you go back into a cubical with your assigned recruiter and they first ask you to read off an announcement as a flight attendant would. Then come about 3-4 questions about yourself personally, and finally about 3-4 situation based questions. Relax and take your time, they are all super nice people! I was told I would be contacted within a week either way if I was selected or not. After about 3 days I received and email unfortunately I wasn't asked to attend training, but I'm taking my experience and moving forward onto other things. Hope this helps and good luck! :)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What previous job most qualifies you for this position? - Name a time you had a conflict with a coworker and how did you resolve it?
I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
