      Flight Attendant Interview

      Jun 11, 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Newark, NJ
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Newark, NJ) in Jun 2015

      Interview

From the day I applied online to the day of the group interview, about 2 weeks had passed. I initially completed an on-demand video interview. Two days later I received an invitation to a group interview in Newark, a week later. On the day of the interview you are given a brief introduction to the FA career at United, with an opportunity to ask questions. During the Q&A period, candidates are called by the recruiters for the first interview. The first interview was very relaxed and the recruiter was very hospitable. After the first interview, I waited in a separate room to be called in for the second interview. The second interview was a little more difficult. I was questioned by two senior FAs. Be very careful on how you answer their questions in the second interview. They were looking for people who want to make a real career out of being a FA, and they want to see that you want to spend that time with United. Just a helpful hint, when they step out of the room, show that you are calm and prepared for the FA career through your body language. I think there was a two-way mirror in that room, can't think of any other reason why there would a mirror in that room.
