Interview
A recruiter reached out and asked about salary expectations, then had a phone interview with a Sr. Lead, then was invited to an in-person interview that consisted of 4 parts. 2 behavioral interview, 1 case study, 1 excel/memo. When I was invited to the office interview I was given a list of names of who I would be interviewing and the schedule. On my interview day, I didn't interview with any of the people on the list and no one bothered to tell me. I was very confused when the interviewees introduced themselves and wasn't any of the people I had on my agenda. It would have been nice for someone to tell me. I felt that the candidate chosen was picked already and I wasted my time interviewing. They probably just had random people interview me. Even when they were interviewing me they kept looking at the clock and looking out the door. Like they were in a hurry to be done. The whole process felt off and unwelcoming.

Interview
A lot about my past experience (automotive) and how does easily translate into the airline industry. The recruiter told me it was a behavioral interview but I had a few technical questions about financial modeling using excel.

Interview
Applied online via United careers page and got an email a few days later to schedule an interview with the hiring manager. I found it odd that there was no initial screen with HR so I had no idea what their compensation range was.
Hiring manager interview was pretty standard, we went over experience and got details about the role. The typical situational behavioral interview questions were asked.
Next round was with someone at the director level and was also very conversational in nature. Similar deal here, your average behavioral interview questions were asked.
Final round was with the managing director and can be described as a culture check. This was a quicker interview, went over background and the team at United. Also had time for questions at the end. There was a final excel case that was to be done and emailed back to the HM. I pulled out of the interview process after this. Entire interview process was virtual, no in-person interviews.
