      Packaging Technologist Interview

      Feb 3, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Unilever

      Interview

You first did an online questionnaire that would assess maths and problem solving skills. I then proceeded to do a one on one interview followed by a group interview in which your group interactions are assessed. This was followed by a learning aptitude test and a personality test. Finally is the selection day which consists of 3 interviews plus 2 case studies and a final group interview.

      Packaging Technologist Interview

      Feb 14, 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Port Sunlight, England
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Unilever (Port Sunlight, England) in Jan 2020

      Interview

After submitting my application online, it took about 3 weeks to hear back. I was invited for an assessment day in Unilever (Port Sunlight). The day started at 9am, and finished at 1pm. It had 3 parts: group task (we were given a plastic bottle and needed to work out how to optimise it/improve in a group, and then prepare 5 minutes presentation for this; overall it took 1 hour), individual interview (consisted of technical skills checking, background, situational questions). Lunch with other staff in Unilever, tour. The whole interview was very simple. No stress. No difficulties. I felt it was too easy. The same day I got a call back asking for an extra interview the next day with hiring manager. This call took about 1 hour - the same questions as in the individual interview. I got a final feedback with offer the day after.
