      Warehouse Associate Interview

      Jul 3, 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Uline

      Interview

You walk in like a job fair with plenty of other people enticed by the pay. You provide your application and documents then sit at a table for two assessments, number matching and number pattern recognition. You have 4 minutes to do as many as possible accurately and quickly. They take your assessments into the office and random employees/supervisors begin to interview you on the spot, among the product racks with no privacy. I had two people ask me questions and I guess if you pass that (like I did) you move on to a high manager. This will also be on the spot among the product racks, out in the open without privacy. At the end, they tell you expect an email in 3-5 days. I'm guessing if you hear that, you didn't get the job, because they should call you. Interesting experience, but you have no idea how many positions are open for the thirty-to-fifty people who showed up. Considering they are ALWAYS posting, either they cycle through people or always interview without intent of hire, its a possibility.

      Interview questions [6]

      Question 1

Why do you want to work at Uline?
      Answer question

      Question 2

Are you OK with working overtime when needed or required?
      Answer question

      Question 3

What shift do you prefer? We have two shifts, day and night shifts. Day is picking for outbound and Nights are inbound/receiving in the larger building.
      Answer question

      Question 4

Are you ok that it may be some time to get promoted, considering you are competing with 400-700 other workers? (Red-flag to me, because advancement appears difficult.)
      Answer question

      Question 5

We do a lot of our work in the 4th quarter. Are you ok with putting in the extra time to complete orders as they come in? If a customer puts in an order asking for same day, we must stay late to ensure that same-day orders go out as "same-day." This requires the necessity of overtime.
      Answer question

      Question 6

Are you ok working extended hours in warm environments (like it is now)? (NOTE: It did not feel fully air conditioned nor was I in the building where the associates start to work. The temperature in the other building could have been different.)

I interviewed at Uline (Irving, TX)

      Interview

I was allowed a virtual interview accommodation due to being in the process of relocating and trying to secure employment before moving forward. Interview went well and I was told I would hear back from my recruiter by the end of the week but once the end of the week came I received an automated email stating the company was moving forward.

      Question 1

What experience do you have and how will it apply to a position with Uline.

      Interview

Interview system is good but not asking specific related about past experience and interviewer just talking about company's performance rather than the position. For me it was kind of waste of time to give 2 pre-assesssment and then interview.

      Allentown, PA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Uline (Allentown, PA) in Feb 2026

      Interview

3-hour process (if you pass the two number tests after the first interview). Before, I had to fill out a paper form with my work experience and education days prior. The first interview was with one HR member, then two tests related to numbers were done: verify a bunch of numbers (e.g., 86965-89695), and recognize the pattern (e.g., 1,2,3,4,5,_,_; 2,4,8,16,32,64,_,_; 2,1,2,3,2,5,2,7,_,_). If you passed all these, you get interviews with the warehouse managers the same day (in my case, 3 more interviews). After that, you have to wait for the call for the offer.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me one good and bad thing about your last employer. Are you planning to use your degree in a future? Why are you leaving your current employer? Explain your responsibilities in your current position.
