I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at UKG (Lowell, MA) in Oct 2017
Interview
First, I had a 5-10 minute "meet-and-greet" with Kronos' College Relations rep on campus in October. I showed her my resume, we quickly went over my educational and work experience, and finally she asked if I preferred to do front or back-end development.
A week later, the same person I met with scheduled an on-site interview with my would-be manager. We talked for 30-45 minutes. We went through my resume, first about work experience and then on my academics. Because the company codes in Java, he focused on my Java experience, primarily an academic project I had added to my resume. He asked some technical questions about object oriented programming based on my academic project. Then he went over Kronos and the products they create, explaining the difference between the front and back-end work, and asking which I preferred.
A week later I got a call from the person who first met and set-up my interview that I had gotten an offer which I verbally accepted. Another week later came my offer letter and information about background checks, account set-up, and other on-boarding tasks. I started working in January.
