      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UCLA Health

      Interview

Very easy going experience. They assess your skillset and exeprience. The culture at UCLA Health is so awesome. The way people conduct themselves are professional yet personable. During interview they ask the common behavorial questions “tell me about a time when…”. They also ask you scenario questions.

      Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Interview

      Jan 27, 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at UCLA Health in Jan 2022

      Interview

Phone interview was great, however, the zoom interview was absolutely ridiculous. There were at least 6 people on it, none of which clearly were interested in being there. Personalities were dry, & uninviting. Reading off run of the mill, googled interview questions. Hard pass. It was a huge turn off for the job as I expected a lot more from such a highly regarded company. 5 Minutes into the interview in my mind, I was saying "Please don't let these people call me back" So that should give you the gist of how painful it was. I think HR departments need to remind others that join in on interviews, that the prospective employee is interviewing you also. We're reading body language, tone, and overall demeanor. If no one looks happy to be there, yikes. Do better.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How have you dealt with a difficult co-worker in the past. Describe your work history. What would you do if a patient was afraid of needles? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
