I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Tripadvisor (London, England) in Aug 2018
Interview
The process started off well, despite being very long winded with about 6 stages in total (I skipped a few for various reasons) but the end to end process took ages. Despite a few mistakes from HR with booking in the wrong times and not confirming the interviews, all the stages up until the final one went well and the people were all very friendly and enthusiastic. The final stage was a Skype interview with a senior exec and didn’t go as smoothly. 2 days later I received an apologetic email saying I hadn’t been successful. Firstly, getting to the final stage of a 3 month process I would expect a phone call out of courtesy for all the time I invested. Secondly, my feedback was non-existent, so I actually to this day don’t know why I was unsuccessful. I asked for more detail but 1 month later I still haven’t received anything. I can’t believe that a) the process is so dragged out b) a final stage interviewer isn’t required to give proper, helpful feedback c) the HR team are not required to deliver said feedback to final stage candidates over a call. Such a poor way to end the most long winded interview process ever.

Question 1
How would you launch an affiliate program for TripAdvisor rentals
Despite numerous chasers to their HR team, TripAdvisor never bothered providing any feedback regarding my interview. Extremely poor given the amount of prep that was put into the presentation, etc.
