I applied online for the Worker's Compensation Claim Representative Trainee position. I immediately received an email back stating that I'm "required" to take an assessment test for this position that takes almost an hour. I never had a phone screen or any interview upfront. Many organizations have discontinued these so called assessment tests, personality tests, because it's been proven they are in fact biased. Even with my years of HR experience, and degrees; I was not even given the opportunity for a quick phone interview due to not passing their assessment test. I would've loved to work at Traveler's with my background, and learn even more but they put more emphasis on a test versus the candidate who has the knowledge, degree, and background.
