Application
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Travelers (Hartford, CT) in Oct 2023
Interview
The interview consisted of two rounds. The first round was 30 minutes with with two former program members, purely behavorial. The second round consisted of three 30 minute interviews, one technical and two behavorial. There was no live coding. Overall a very positive experience as all interviewers were super nice and seemed to want to learn more about me. Some tricky questions but they aren't trying to trick you, just see your behavior and how you might respond to some questions. Most questions asked to talk about previous experience with both technical and behavorial skills.

Question 1
Describe a time you worked in a group and faced challenges.
Standard two rounds, first round being 30 minutes, second being three 30 minute interviews. Behavioral questions, but you need to describe technical skills in your answers and how they were used. Interviews were conversational and enjoyable.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Travelers (Hartford, CT) in Oct 2025
Interview
Two stages, the first one lasts 30 minutes and is very broad and getting to know you and your fit. Some HR stuff, and very little technical stuff (super basic, no coding or anything). Second stage lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes with 3 different interviewers separately (30 minutes each). First part is similar to the first interview, broad and HR stuff, but you're discussing these with the program manager. Second part discusses your technical skills and how you applied that in previous work experience/schooling (no tests again), and you're discussing these with a higher-up working in a similar field to the one you're applying to. Third stage is a mix of the first two stages with someone similar to the second stage interviewer.
