      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Travelers

      Interview

Takes awhile. Submitted my initial application and received the assessment screening immediately. Upon completion, it stated that someone would reach out to me. I was not reached out to until 3-4 days later to set up a phone interview. Phone interview occurred about 2 days later. It was stated I would be contacted to set up another interview for in person. I was not contacted until 3-4 days later and set up the interview about 2-3 days from that date.

      Application

I interviewed at Travelers (London, England)

      Interview

Everything was smooth at first. HR reached out quickly for availability for the initial interview, and after the initial stage, I received feedback within two days that I would progress to the directors’ interview. If you pass that, then comes the onsite interview. The whole process took around three weeks in total. What’s disappointing is what happened after the onsite interview — complete silence. No update, no feedback, nothing at all. It honestly felt discouraging because I genuinely had a good impression of the company and the team. The environment felt right, and I could see myself working there. At this point, I’m starting to think they may have considered the role too junior for my level of experience, since I already have extensive experience in the field. And if that’s the case, that’s completely understandable. What’s frustrating is not the rejection itself, but the lack of communication. Candidates invest so much time, effort, preparation, and emotional energy throughout these lengthy interview processes. The least a company can do is send an update — even a generic rejection email. Silence after multiple interview stages, especially after an onsite, just leaves candidates hanging and disappointed.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Travelers (Hartford, CT) in Jan 2020

      Interview

The interview process was quite lengthy. The interview involved meeting with all different levels of folks within the department and included a free lunch. I would say that the process from start to finish lasted about 6-7 hours. Majority of the questions asked were behavioral and included some questions over past job responsibilities.
