I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Transamerica (Houston, TX) in May 2012
Interview
They called asking if I had some time because they found my resume on careerbuilder.com and they found it very impressive. They talk about how much money you can make right away so that you are "impressed" and want to hear more. The very last thing they tell you is what you will be doing, which is giving financial advice and offering investment suggestions in order to reach a desired gains/risk of client. What they don't tell you is that you are an independent financial adviser and have to find 3-4 people to "buy into" their services. So basically you have to go around to family and friends and be annoying and get them to buy stuff they don't want/need. Then eventually everyone hates you because you sold them services they don't want/need.
