      Senior SysOps Engineer/Manager Interview

      Aug 22, 2019

      Application

The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TransUnion (None)

      Interview

Talked to a recruiter for a couple days then they submitted me and then did a call with the hiring manager. The manager seemed nice enough. However the first red flag was why is a manager running an IT department? Shouldn’t that be a Director? He seemed like he was trying to find someone willing to work like a dog for the lowest pay possible. The hiring manager went on and on about who he knew at my current job seemed unprofessional to me. My take away was pay not so good here, possibly unprofessional management, and I have real questions about work life balance. I never heard from them again and wasn’t the least bit disappointed. I say work here only if you must.
