The process was polite and professional on the surface, but the feedback felt inaccurate and disconnected from the actual interview discussion.
I received a rejection after the first stage with comments saying I lacked experience in automated testing frameworks, advanced testing methodologies, and SwiftUI testing. The problem is that I explicitly discussed significant experience in exactly these areas during the interview, including building testing frameworks, large-scale unit testing approaches, async testing, and snapshot testing.
It felt like either some important parts of the conversation were missed or the evaluation was too shallow. That was disappointing, especially because the feedback did not reflect what was actually said.
Overall, communication was polite, but the assessment process did not feel particularly precise or fair.
