It is a two interview process. Level 2 is an outsourced position (Toyota calls those workers who are not "Team Members", or Toyota employees, Variable Work Force employees). Toyota actually has very few actual employees in Information Systems. They employ a lot of variable work force employees throughout the plant. Phone interview is part one and they follow an interview script. They ask for real world examples of your work, not just theories. If you make it past that you go on-site to do a face to face interview with the assistant manager and usually a specialist. Same thing, they ask questions off a script and ask for real world examples of work. They ask you to tell of one problem you solved, and to answer using the STAR technique (Situation, Task, Action, Result) so be prepared.
