I applied through university. I interviewed at Toyota North America in Sep 2017
Interview
I met Toyota at a career fair on campus and was scheduled for an interview within a couple days. The interviewers were very friendly, laid back, and easy to talk with. After several weeks, I was invited for the final on-site interview. However, by then, I had already received another job offer and declined to participate.
The interview questions were very lax and it seemed like they were more concerned with seeing if I was the right fit during this first round.

Question 1
The couple behavioral questions that they asked revolved around persuasiveness, communication, dealing with difficult people, etc.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Toyota North America (Portland, OR) in Dec 2024
Interview
First interview online screening, second interview in-person 1 on 1 chats with staff across sales, marketing, management, and more. My second interview was 2 days: 1st was the 1 on 1s, 2nd was a day in the field shadowing a 'Field Traveler', where we drove hours to a Dealership to do a check-in with them and then drove back to the office. According to the Field Traveler, the day in the field was not a normal practice for interviews.
there were five hour long interviews with two - four different people per interview. the interviews were mostly conversational and centered around getting to know my values, interests, and people skills.
3 interviews in the hiring process. 1st one is a panel interview with 4 people than it gets more personal and smaller with conversations with company mangers. Overall well set-up process.
