The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters
Interview
Randomly found this job on Chinese social media Weibo. There was only one around of interview since I was in the U.S. and the office was in Shanghai. Before that, there was some exchange via emails. The supervisor asked me to pitch some potential story ideas. Then when it finally came to the phone/Skype interview, it was like a casual chatting. However the supervisor wasn't very friendly and didn't dare to express her personal attitudes on your answers. The interview turned into a debate finally.

I applied online. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (London, England) in Jul 2024
Interview
Interviewed on Teams by a guy from Newcastle. I was a little shocked by how informal he was dressed. He looked like a farmer. Was a very bad experience and I would not apply again. I felt insulted and judged particularly as he felt it important to bang on about why I did my degree in my thirties.
