I was called the week after I applied and scheduled for a phone interview. I was also emailed to schedule a phone interview with a staffing agency in the UK that was helping Thomson Reuters recruit, so I had 2 phone interviews. The one with the staffing agency went well, and the interviewer was very skilled. They asked many of the same questions as the interview with Thomson Reuters directly. Both were competency based. My interview with Thomson Reuters did not go well. I could hardly hear the person conducting the interview, even after I asked them to speak louder. This person sounded monotone and bored. Two weeks later I received the standard letter to terminate my candidacy.
