I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Beijing, Beijing) in Jan 2014
Interview
An entire day experience at Thomson Reuters office calling some kind of recruit center. Total about 30 applicants. Some background abt me, I'm an experienced working folk but still have to go through the group interviews and the individual interviews with a couple of hrs and senior Mgrs. I found it was pretty odd back then.
1st time contacted by hr through phone i was actually base @other part of China so I must fly there to attend this interview. Hr confirmed with me multiple times if I can make on that day. Turns out Hr just want to make sure collect enough applicants. For obvious reason can keep senior Mgr happy and them actually did the work. I invested an entire day at the so-called recruit center jump all kinds of hoops. After the interview, Hr won't even bother replying my followup email reg hiring status. This is THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL company I've ever encountered in my life. Won't recommend to anyone so pls avoid this company AT ALL COST. However on the bright side, if you really do want to learn some valuable life lesson well go for it.
