Applied and thought I had not got in as I didn't hear anything for over a month after I submitted my application. Called in for an interview and was asked what I thought were ridiculously hard questions for an internship. I was asked things like what are the prospects for civil war in Angola, compare and contrast the peacekeeping missions in CAR and South Sudan, what risks would you anticipate setting up a hotel in Angola..! Apparently a lot of places do this more to see that you can give a vaguely coherent answer rather than expecting an expert opinion.
