I interviewed with Talabat for a Data Architect role after being contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn. She scheduled my interview but didn’t show up at the scheduled time. After I followed up, she apologized and rescheduled. Following the first interview, she arranged a technical interview with the hiring manager. That interview went well, and he told me the recruiter would contact me soon. It has now been almost two months, and I haven’t heard anything. I emailed the recruiter and sent her messages on LinkedIn, but received no response. I reached out to the hiring manager to request feedback, and he assured me the recruiter would get in touch, but still nothing. When I tried emailing the recruiter again, I discovered her email was no longer active. I then added another recruiter from the company on LinkedIn and asked for an update. She told me I had interviewed on a certain date and that she would get back to me—but once again, no follow-up. At this point, I’ve lost hope. It has been a terrible experience, and they’ve wasted my time and energy. I wouldn’t recommend them based on what I’ve gone through.
