I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Takeda Pharmaceuticals in Jun 2023
Interview
The interview process was quite standard, starting with HR, the hiring manager, two peers, and then a member of the senior leadership. It took about 1,5 -2 months altogether. They were good at keeping me in the loop and eventually, I received a job offer as well. It was a good offer and I was inclined to accept it when I received an email that they were withdrawing (!) the offer. No phone call, no email from the hiring manager, only a formal and impersonal email from HR. I ended up writing to the hiring manager a professional email, hoping for some feedback but never received any reply. I've been through many interviews and processes and to this day this has been the most astonishing and unprofessional manner I have been treated.
I interviewed at Takeda Pharmaceuticals (Philadelphia, PA)
Interview
Simple, straight forward. Typical HR recruiter screening followed by three virtual 1:1 interviews. Final interview was a virtual panel presentation on a role specific process development. The whole process took about 4 weeks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked how long I was in the vertical and the one process improvement I would bring to the organization.
Straightforward process, very lean. First rounds were conducted online. Final interview was in person and contained a self-presentation and Q&A session with multiple people from the leadership team. Talent acquisition was very quick and helpful with the entire process.
Internal interview (applied for a new role within the company). The interview process was quick and somewhat informal as I was already an employee at the company. The offer was made quickly and the overall process was efficient.
