The process took 2 days. I interviewed at TIAA (Charlotte, NC) in Jan 2011
Interview
I was interviewed in person 4 times and on the phone once. I intereviewed with the entire team that I would be working with, including some outside managers. I was contacted by a talent acquisitions manager in San Francisco, who was slow to get in touch and let me know what was going on. I drove up to Charlotte (about 75 miles), on four separate occasions and was never reimbursed for anything.
The campus is impressive, the people were fine, but they were slow to keep me in the loop, and really did not seem like they actually cared about me as a person. Of course I would have accepted the offer had it been given (depending on compensation), but they ended up hiring an internal candidate.
Straight forward, asked typical DSA style questions with some mental white boarding exercises. Interviewers were very nice and welcoming. Made me interested in the role. Would recommend to others. Had a total of 3 rounds.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at TIAA (Frisco, TX)
Interview
2 Rounds,
1. phone screening,
2. Meeting with 2-3 hiring manager. They ask Star method Q&A and possible role play
They do ask follow up questions too.
like tell me more about how you did xyz
My answers were not in star method and I rambled too muchand failed to set up the A-action part and did not have a good R-Results.
Have a few scenario and personal stories in mind
Was pretty welcoming and warm I guess I had a hard time coming up with scenarios following the star method I was kinda all over the place interviewer was very nice non the less
