So far in the first stages of the hiring process. Submitted application last week and within days got a message from the hiring manager (I suspect) asking for availability for a 30min video interview. A bit informal of an approach as I usually get reached out via email or phone call with more instruction on what to expect.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TD (New York, NY) in Apr 2025
Interview
It was good and I was confident. I was well prepared for all of the questions. I answered them nicely. I got the job. You should explain your customer service experience and sales experience in the interview.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TD (Gaithersburg, MD) in Mar 2026
Interview
I applied online and got an online interview with the district manager. Next, I had an interview at the specific location. I was not told it was a panel interview and the 3 managers were very unprofessional. They asked inappropriate questions, changed the question after my response, and it was overall a very toxic/humiliating one hour interview.
Was very straightforward, make sure to remain calm. Answer confidently and be honest. Try to know some fun facts about the company; they love it when you are knowledgeable and know about where you want to work. It shows that you are interested and that it's not just another job.
