The interview was the for the post of corporate credit associate. it was a 1:1 interview with 2 rounds being conducted. the interview was conducted in a very cordial manner and both the interviewers were very friendly and made every effort to make me comfortable and never made any effort to put me under stress. Interview started very casually with general questions about the background and the experience. Then the question why I was interested in corporate credit. So i explained why my prior experience made it logical to move into corporate credit. Then the focus moved to recent economic crisis and the reasons behind that. Also the questions were asked about what is meant by credit and what factors would you consider while giving out credit approval for a corporate. the answers which i gave included government regulations, type of management style, type pf suppliers, how diversified their suppliers were and finally looking at their books and using models like DDM etc. The thing where I missed was using terms like looking into ratings given to the corporate by various agencies.
