Interview
A recruiter reached out via email saying that I would be a good fit for a specific role so I applied. A week or so later received an email from HR to meet with the hiring manager. First interview with the hiring manager went fine, he asked some weird questions though and it seemed that, since the position was new, there was a slight lack of clarity on the job responsibilities. Went in to interview with 2 other VPs, however, it was not made clear why I was interviewing with these individuals as they only seemed tangentially related to the team. After all 3 interviews, I received a rejection letter via their automated job portal. It felt very unprofessional to go through 3 rounds of interviews and not receive a direct rejection from one of the HR reps I had been in communication with. Overall, I felt the process was very disorganized as they had chosen to interview me for the role but could not even provide a personalized rejection letter as to why I was not a good fit for the role (after their HR department had chosen to interview me). Additionally, did also not have any discussions about benefits or salary after 3 interviews, which would have been better to know more upfront.

Interview
The interview process was fairly straightforward. I had a conversation with HR and then a panel interview with the hiring manager and other people I'd be working with.
I didn't think it was difficult at all. Found myself to be well prepared. There were technical issues on their end as they don't interview in person and their screens were freezing.
They said they'd have a timeline for the decision after Labor Day but expedited it as they were always planning to hire internally via a promoted position. It was a waste of everyone's time.
Be prepared to answer situational questions with success stories and data to support. Also may have multiple interviews with different team members & functions. Be patient; the hiring process takes time.

Interview
It was a very long drawn out process with interviews scheduled 1-2 weeks out and low communication. I recommend you keep applying to other companies in order to not waste time in case you don’t get selected. People who I interviewed with were friendly and seemed like they really enjoyed working there.
