      Interview

After I applied I immediately received an email stating they liked my resume and would like to set up a phone call. We talked a bit and had a great conversation, the interviewer was very informative and we discussed the role, my work history and what I knew about the company. The phone interview was on a Wednesday and I heard back from them the following Tuesday. In the email, my interviewer informed me they found someone with experience that they thought was best for the role. Naturally, I was a little disappointed I didn't get a second interview so I sent an email requesting additional information on why that didn't happen. She was very understanding and told me I can give her a call. She was very nice about it and explained the situation professionally and empathetically. I thought it was awesome of her to take time out of her day to do that and it made me feel better about the situation. Overall good experience!
