I applied online. I interviewed at Splunk (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2019
Interview
initial tech screen via codility
- Finish a react component by making sure all the test cases pass
- Implement something knowing Javascript Prototypes
On-Site Coding Rounds (5 Tech screens, 1 Manager screen)
They will ask general questions about the specific position you're applying for, but all of the white boarding is in JavaScript.
I felt like I was interviewing to be part of the TC39 committee than actually applying for a Data Visual Engineer as they didn't test me on any d3 or react.
