High workload ( although understandable with frequent new product and version releases in a high growth environment ). Change management has not always been handled well ( but is recently much improved )

These were pre-2022 and on alternative Customer Success teams: -Great management support for CSMs -Roles and responsibilities laid out (somewhat) formally

-Unproductive changes to CSM roles (increased admin tasks which account for approx 50-70% of the job, duplicating the same adminwork in 2-3 different places etc.) -Hyper fixation on renewals and ARR only -Lack of CS management support -Lack of career development (company tends to hire externally over internal movement even if it's going CSM team to CSM team) -CS org in complete disarray. Constant breakdown of the CS department and roles, rebuilding with diff nomenclature, rinse and repeat -Blatant, systemic discrimination (against women, BIPOC people, LGBTQ+ people etc.) and harassment/bullying within a large number of the upper management (generally cis white men) that constantly got swept under the rug despite multi employees reporting to HR - Lack of true inclusivity - yes there are some pockets/groups internally who are doing a good job of promoting it, but they're very much in silo. It no longer comes off as a company-wide initiative. -Tons of upper management turnover (and sadly the loss of solid, positive, care for their employees managers)
