The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SmartBear in Jan 2015
Interview
Great phone interview, set time for face to face, met with four individuals, all was positive, was told I would get a call that night or in the morning from the hiring manager. When I asked if the 8:00-6:00 hours were expected they were no longer interested. No call from hiring manager, received an email with a reason for not being interested that had nothing to do with my interview or position.
They have moved to Somerville, very expensive to park and eat in area. Many employees are complaining about cost of working in that area.

Question 1
Interview questions were spot on and enjoyable, no standouts to mention.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SmartBear (Boston, MA) in Feb 2022
Interview
I was invited to apply by the recruiter. I sent my resume and cover letter online. I did a phone screening interview that was scheduled for 10 minutes and went 30, usually a good sign. I then had a phone interview with three managers and one sales director. Two were very pleasant, one was not. Standard interview questions. I asked a lot of questions, received very inconsistent answers to basic things like expected activity level, length of training, benefits and how compensation (commissions) were calculated. One interviewer admitted they did not have long-term plans to stay with the company.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SmartBear (Beverly, MA) in Jul 2012
Interview
the interview process was very smooth and convenient. they worked around my schedule and appreciated the fact that i did not want to discard my job at the time for an interview for a potential job. i cannot say enough about the sales leadership at SmartBear. Great team atmosphere and a common defined goal.
