This was a very long interview process with multiple rounds. Three of the interviews were with different people from HR, and every single person had the exact same set of behavioral questions they asked me. It was very redundant.
Different interviewers also had different understandings of the role.
I worked with a recruiter from Skillz who would call me outside of business hours and pressure me to schedule interviews and assessments on very short notice. The availability I provided was not always respected.
There was an unpaid assessment that required me to use AI and editing programs to make video ads. It costs money to subscribe to all these and buy credits, and I spent a significant amount of money to complete the assessment. I was also informed that I would be judged on if I play the games or not. I was told by my recruiter she would give me a code to get in-game money to play, but the code requires you to spend money in the apps and the code just doubles what you spend. So I felt pressured to spend money to play their games on top of the money I spent on the assessment.
I also did not get a response to my request for feedback at the end of the process despite the very significant amount of time and money I had to spend on this.
Overall the individual interviewers were generally positive and thoughtful so my issues are with the overall process which does not feel respectful of candidates.
