I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sears (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2013
Interview
Filled out application online. Supplied cover letter and resume. Entered general information. Took a personality test. Pretty straightforward.
Got a call a couple days later saying they want to set up an interview. Gladly scheduled one.
Dressed professionally: shirt, tie, slacks, and dress shoes. The lady was very friendly. Genuinely cared about the company. Asked pretty general questions you'd expect in an interview. After interview, got scheduled for a second interview another day.
The second interview was with a different manager. Was supposed to ask me questions about previous employment but those didn't apply to me since this was my first job. You kind of use this interview to show why you fit the job and the culture. I asked a good amount of questions. Got offered the job at the end of the interview!
After I accepted they e-mail you everything you need to do. Take drug screening, filling out forms, and other stuff.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sears
Interview
I applied online and received an email one week later for an interview. Waited in their office for a while and got interviewed by my would-be boss. I was the only one there which surprised me because as I would find out later, the backroom was understaffed even with me being hired.
short, asked a few simple questions but overall was a great learning experience. They required employee to be able to lift a certain amount of weight (about 50 pounds). The position was for part time work
Easy, got called in and asked some questions and was shown around and introduced to other workers and what I would be doing. Everyone was friendly and it was a quick interview.
