Interview
The process was pretty straight forward you apply online, generally this is most peoples first job but a few other customer service experience job will help a lot.
start young like 16 or so because regardless of how many times you get promoted you wont get a raise until you reach management all other raises come based on time with the company. Its very common to see high skill demanding jobs from being promoted and still get paid as much as a courtesy clerk.

Question 1
The standard questions were asked:
why do you want to work at Safeway?
if a customer was buying ice cream what 3 things would you recommend? ( this is the only safeway specific question)
all other questions were about availability etc
be prepared for at least 5 general questions and you'll be fine.
In store, we sat down and they asked about my previous work experience and a few other questions. One interview and then a training day with computer modules before starting
good and like any other interview but i went during a job fair so it was easier i brought all my docs and then they called me back nice summer job for teen
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Safeway (Pueblo, CO) in Feb 2025
Interview
They ask about your hours and questions like if you can work with people in a team or alone, they also are a union and do weekly pay, it’s a easy interview process at least for me
