I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Roland Berger
Interview
In my case, the recruiting process consisted of 4 rounds: SC, PM, PM, and Principal. Standard interview structure, 10-15 mins behavioral, 30-40 mins case study & final questions. Overall quite challenging, they really want to test your business acumen and understanding by giving complex tasks (clearly not enough time to solve them properly). They are interested in your approach and communication skills. Prepare your opinions to be challenged anytime. Very professional interviewers that want to know where's the candidate limit.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Pricing strategy for a car-related product; estimate first-year revenue of a bar in an airport, estimate the impact of COVID-19 on passenger volumes in 2 airports, estimate the bid price to win a concession for a parking system.
Initial screening by HR.
Assessment (math reading etc.) followed by 3 case interviews. Cases with progressively more senior staff as you pass each.
Very standard process for a consulting firm.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Roland Berger (Brussels) in Feb 2025
Interview
Not impressed with the human resources team. They are very robotic and impersonal. The interview was scheduled for 1.5 months later and there was no communication or onboarding call to explain the expectations. I was doing MBB and Big 4 interviews at the same time, this stood out as the worst energy.

Question 1
Fit (Why consulting? Why Roland Berger? ...) + Case interview
