Interview
Rockstar has a 10 step process. 1-5 is just applying and meeting with recruiters. Then you take a online programming test that is medium difficulty. Then you start meeting with people on your potential team.

Question 1
Whats your favorite game and why? What made you really want to do video game design? Is there a particular game mechanic that you didn't understand how to implement that really inspired you or that you thought was amazing? Think about the first time you played portal.
Phone interview, then a coding / design test, then zoom interview. Good communication on their part. Whole process took a while however. Took about a month and a half. Employees were wonderful.

Interview
It was a 5 stage interview process. The first stage you have to answer questions from a prompt and while you're being recorded. The second stage you speak to the recruiter a bit about yourself and the role. Third stage you have write a pretty hefty design document. 4th stage is a technical interview, and the final stage you speak with the leads of the department.

They might ask questions regarding how one would go about designing a certain feature, what factors you would take into account and what your design process would be like.
The first step was to provide a pre-recorded interview through their website where they asked you to answer 3-5 questions, and if you were selected, they would have a phone interview which acted as a screening process.
