I applied online. I interviewed at Rapptr Labs (New York, NY) in Sep 2021
Interview
Engaged in a rigorous technical evaluation via Zoom, which included a comprehensive assessment of my problem-solving abilities and a detailed walkthrough of the architecture and code within my GitHub projects.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions about modern Android app architecture and Android specific concepts
I applied to an external jobs platform. I had an initial interview with a recruiter that asked questions about my previous experiences. Then, some days later I received an email from another person asking me to share a code from my repository or to submit a coding test. I opted out to share a code from an app that I already have. They disappeared right after that.
They probably stole my code and conducted a fake hiring process. There are other reviews here that are basically describing the same process. This is something that is happening quite often with many companies, and I think that Rapptr Labs decided to do the same.
I also think that they are doing this with people outside of U.S to avoid lawsuits.
STAY AWAY.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself and your technical experiences.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rapptr Labs in Apr 2024
Interview
Had initial screen. Went over my experience, education and et cetera. They didn't have too many questions for me so I was doing most of the asking. Next step after that was sending in a sample of work or choosing to do a test. Went for the first one and sent in some code I had worked on. Didn't work out, no particular feedback.
