I was contacted by the RBC Talent Acquisition team via email and invited in for an interview. I had a short call with my contact in the RBC Talent Acquisition team in order to give me an indication of what I can expect to be asked in the interview. Interviewed with two more junior people and then 3 senior people.

Question 1
What were the common themes of the market in 2018 and what you think 2019 has in store for the markets?
First round with VP that was online based and it involved motivation questions and a few behavioural/competency questions and most importantly question about key strengths and what the candidate will bring to the role.

Interview
Series of Zoom meetings with the hiring manager, analyst, and associates on the team. About 5 Zoom calls total. There was an excel and writing test to be completed over 48 hours testing basic excel and research skills. The last step was an in-person interview with the analyst and associate on the team.
