      Quantitative Trading Interview

      Oct 20, 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at RBC (New York, NY) in Oct 2017

      Interview

First of all, there is a huge lack of professionalism at this firm. The interviewer showed up late, the interviews were set up by the interviewer sitting me down into the room and then writing my name on a piece of paper and sticking it on the door. Most of the interviewers were not very friendly and we had a very uncomfortable lunch with the hiring manager. They also kept me waiting for three weeks after the Super Day with next-to-no communication before rejecting me. This is clearly a lower-tier trading shop and I would not recommend anyone to look for opportunities. Very bad impression.
