      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Procter & Gamble (Bucharest, Bucuresti) in Aug 2013

      Interview

The longest hiring process. Took around 6 months. First I needed to pass 2 online tests, after I passed them they called me next day that I qualify for both positions. I went on a IQ/Skill test and I needed to pick for which positions I want to continue. After few days I received results that I passed it. After one month they called me on the first interview, and the standard P&G style questions , after I passed it I was called on the second one again almost the same questions. After 3 weeks they called me on the final interview. All the interview were with Procurement Managers and the first one was with the line manager. After 3 weeks I received and answer that I passed the 3th one also and I was waiting for an offer. After 2 weeks of waiting I called the HR and she told me that they picked another one but as soon as there is positions opening I will receive an offer. After 1 month I received an e-mail that there is position opening and if like to proceed with the hiring process. After I send them that I want I did not receive any response, I called the HR and she told me that is not up to her and that maybe they wont send me an offer because the managers have their people that they want to hire. After 2 weeks waiting it was an Job fair that I went and P&G stand was there also. I found the HR manager and I asked her why they offer a positions that I'm already selected . She said that the recruiter responsible for me told them that I reject the offer. After big scandal she said that she will take care of that. After one month they send me e-mail telling me that the position is closed and I'm not qualified anymore. P & G Romania something is wrong with the hiring process I'm planing on escalating this issue is a shame for big company like this.

      Interview

A total of three interviews with questions about past experiences and classic what would you do in certain situations type of questions. No major differences between interviews. My recommendation would be to make sure the answers reflect the company’s values.
