I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Excellent company to start your career to build sales and financial acumen. High level of responsibility when managing accounts from an early stage. I have found managers to be competent.

    Cons

Can be lots of red tape and slow to make decisions or gain multiple levels of approval. Can lose sales opportunities due to slow processes. Seems like the company is working to make progress in this area, but it does cause frustration and can definitely be improved upon.

I worked at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great culture, learning, experiences, people, opportunity once you leave as people respect the company, your network, global learning

    Cons

Not many working there over 50, senior support may dissolve if leadership changes, very few international people in Canadian office

    Advice to Management

Keep up the training and development, keep people for longer,

I worked at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Fantastic people and culture. Great location and flexibility to work from home. Amazing recruiting process that is fair and that works. Great variety and ability to change roles often. Training is available and high quality. Great support systems in place. Highly professional and ethical employer.

    Cons

Your career will be limited if you stay in Canada long term. Office is beautiful and functional but not a fan of the 100% open concept and hotelling.

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Comfortable environment, work from home

    Cons

There is a dual citizenship: people who are in "manager" positions, and people who are in "administrative" positions (includes product supply and other key functions). Opportunities are very limited for the admin positions, there is a clear glass ceiling and they hardly ever allow for anyone to move to "manager" position even with the highest ratings.

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Great flexibility! High level of responsibility.

    Cons

Hard to move the needle because we over analyze. A lot of red tape and message tracking. Limited roles in senior management.
