Initially phone calls with a recruiter in NYC, and then two round of face-to-face interviews. First round was with technical people and it was nice. Second round was with managers. Somehow the second round did not leave any positive memories.
Since they mainly cater airline industry and having all these cover-19 stuff, I guess they must be in a terrible situation right now. I am having a little schadenfreude moment here now :)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
First round more algorithmic questions like design an elevator.
Second round was more towards big data stuff. I told them I have no experience in that at every step yet the managers keep asking questions through the second round. That was not a very smart thing to do and obviously invitation for failure.
In the end they said they liked me and will offer something in two months since they have another candidate to hire right away. After two months there was no call obviously. Then I decided to check on them, they did not respond at all. This means either they lied in the first place or did not have the courtesy to tell me that the conditions have changed.
