I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Pier 1 Imports in Jan 2012
Interview
The interview was to the point and was about my personal life and the many jobs that I have been employed with. The manager interviewing would not stop talking about all she did.
The interview was easy but long. Asked basic questions that are expected in an interview. No previous experience was required for the sales associate position. Training took a week spent on a computer in the back.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pier 1 Imports (Houston, TX) in Aug 2019
Interview
Professional and fast experience. Seemed to be a bit biased based on how you present yourself. Education level didn't seem to be important which was a bit disappointing for those with degrees.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Pier 1 Imports (San Diego, CA) in May 2012
Interview
Quick, friendly interview.Schedules a time with the store manager. She was friendly, professional and fun to interview with. We hit it off quickly both of us being dog lovers.
Asked for feedback and was given feedback before I left so I knew if I was being hired.
Job offered a couple days later.
Overall easy pleasant experience.
